Malaysia is set to have the world’s most advanced technologies in Communications, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management to manage and monitor its air sectors.
The new Kuala Lumpur Air Traffic Control Centre (KL ATCC) at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will be a new landmark in the country’s civil aviation industry. The complex will house the air traffic control operations for the Kuala Lumpur Flight Information Region (KL FIR), becoming the backbone of the country’s air traffic control, as well as the central coordination centre for the Department of Civil Aviation’s (DCA) Search and Rescue (SAR) system.

Design concept is based on stunt kites, flown alone or in multiples - one stacked behind the other - can perform high-speed aerial maneuvers such as figure eights, sharp turns, stops in mid air, flying backward, and other complex acrobatics. The motion is a curve reflecting that sense of fluidity. Curves derive their inspiration from the beauty of nature and the efficiency in the design of nature. Captured from the aerodynamic of the curved wing profile and the motion of fying objects.
